Activities:
The pandemic and subsequent mitigation measures have had significant economic, social, and psychological impacts. Due to the limitation of the psychological services in Palestine, the psychological effects have been particularly acute. Therefore, it’s crucial to raise awareness of these effects, provide strategies for coping them, and promote overall mental well-being.
SCD, in partnership with GIZ, recognizes this urgent need. In 2020, we successfully launched an initiative to strengthen the skills of social and psychological workers in the field, laying the foundation for a healthier Palestinian society in the wake of the pandemic. Building on this success, we have secured funding for a comprehensive program dedicated to raising awareness of psychological health issues.
